Tooth Extraction

Some teeth may have extensive decay or maybe so badly broken or cracked that filling the tooth is not possible and extraction is the only option.

The dentist may first need to take an x-ray of the tooth to assess the root pattern. Sometimes referral for intravenous sedation or general anaesthetic is the most suitable route, especially for wisdom teeth.
